First Friday Art Walk of the year! Downtown Bangor

It looks like fine walking weather on Friday, January 3rd - perfect for the very first First Fridays Art Walk of 2025!

First Fridays Art Walks are monthly community events featuring local artists and venues located in downtown, Bangor, Maine. Produced by (be sure to follow them!) First Fridays Art Walks typically include a mix of visual, musical, and performing arts spread throughout Downtown Bangor in cooperation with local artists, the Bangor Art Society, and dozens of local businesses and organizations.

WOW! We just hit 5,440 owners! In 2024, we gained 630 new owners. Over 20% of our owners are fully vested! We are so thankful for all of our amazing owners and your support of the Co-op!

So what do all of those numbers mean? The Belfast Community Co-op is owned by YOU! Every owner receives special discounts and dividends, in addition to voting privileges. The Mount Battie star has been a holiday tradition in Camden for more than 50 years!✨ It is lit by a small group of volunteers each year on Thanksgiving night and runs through New Year’s Eve 🌟

The star is visible in many parts of Camden, and the islands of Islesboro, North Haven, Vinalhaven, and Matinicus.

We're so happy to have Lovebirds Donuts as neighbors! When visitors find that there's no coffee at the rest area where the Maine State Visitor Information Center is located, they're relieved to hear craft coffee is practically next door! And the donuts are AMAZING! We sampled the Boston Cream, the Nog, and a Gingerfolk today! Impossible to choose a favorite! ❤️🍩❤️🍩
