So I did something today I haven't done in such a long time and it was a really nice day!! Sunshine and low 80's..... I actually took a full day off and Johnny and I spent the day acting like tourists in Manteo. We walked along the docks, visited all the little shops and talked to so many wonderful shop owners, and at the end of the day, had dinner at one of our favorite local places, Darrell's Restaurant! Getting home just in time for another amazing sunset!

Loved our stay!
Our family of 4 and 1 four legged family member loved our stay at the Funky Flamingo! The house was just the right size. The neighborhood was quiet and we were so close to the beach! The house was clean and stocked with what we needed. The owner was extremely nice and made sure we were happy, she was a delight to talk to and work with. We will be coming back to the Outer Banks and the Funky Flamingo will be on our list to stay in again!
Now is a great time to come for a short stay and visit one or all of several lighthouses on the Outer Banks? Message us for booking and rates!
