Update on us and Hurricane Milton:

Well, Mom slept right through it and I woke up a few times when wind gusts were their strongest. We never lost power and honestly our resort felt very safe and secure. The CMs did ask for us to remove the patio furniture from our balcony in preparation.

At the resort there was a ton activities before they gave us a curfew of 8:30pm last night. They kept restaurants open and allowed dining up until that curfew with the ride out crew being amazing! We even had Mickey and Pluto come to visit the kids in the lobby! Disney has done an exceptional job at making us feel safe and comfortable.

Since the “shelter in place” mandate has been lifted, we will venture out to see what all is happening.

They are not allowing dining reservations online, but you can walk up to make reservations and as of now parks, Disney Springs and transportation is all closed for the remainder of the day.
