Travel season is heating up, and for those exploring new destinations by car, it’s important to be prepared for different driving cultures and rules. Here are some must-know tips for driving internationally:

✅ No Drinking & Driving (duh, right?) – Many countries have zero tolerance policies, with severe penalties (even jail time) for offenders. Play it safe—walk, take a taxi, or use a ride-share.

🚖 Taxis & Ride-Shares – Always use official taxi queues at the airport and agree on the fare beforehand in countries where prices aren’t metered. Avoid drivers offering “quick deals” outside the queue.

📜 Insurance & License Requirements – Your insurance may not cover you abroad, so check local regulations. Some countries require an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to your driver’s license.

🚦 Know the Road Signs – Signs and symbols can differ significantly. Research local traffic laws before you go to avoid confusion.

⚡ Speed Limits Vary – Some countries use KM/h, others use MPH. A quick trick: 100 KM/h ≈ 60 MPH. Speed cameras are common, and speeding is strictly enforced in many places.

I've never seen this much leg room on an airplane in my life! 😱😆

If you ever fly on a Delta B737-900 ER(R) and you care the most about getting as much leg room as possible, you're gonna want to book a seat in row 10 (Comfort + class) of this plane. **It is located directly behind what is oddly labeled as row 3, which is the last row of the first class seats.

You don't get a TV, but a twin size mattress could literally fit right there in between the rows, which would be a great place to take a nap if it was allowed (but sadly, it is not).

What is better than your window seat also doubling as an aisle seat?? 😃
