This Wedding Wednesday feels especially emotional. This week, we have the privilege of celebrating the wedding of Chelsey and Paul, who were the very first couple to book The Manor back in May, right after we opened our doors. Since then, we've had the honor of hosting countless weddings, celebrations, and gatherings, and welcoming over 100 Airbnb guests. But Chelsey and Paul will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Their wedding marks the perfect moment to begin winding down a truly unforgettable year, and we are filled with gratitude for every couple, family and guests who has chosen to celebrate with us in 2024.

Today we want to highlight this beautiful couple Katie & James who chose the Manor for their late spring wedding.

From Katie:
"... we met for the first time at a Mexican restaurant and couldn't stop talking all night definitely closed it down with chips and margaritas but we've been together ever since, he proposed on our anniversary and now we enjoying planning for the future and spending the rest of our lives together!!"

Katie, James and their families will be staying at The Manor their wedding weekend to enjoy the peace and retreat while preparing for their local church ceremony. Afterwards, they're celebrating in our indoor and outdoor event spaces.

We couldn't be more thrilled for this sweet couple!

We got a message at 1 am this morning that a family had driven to Knoxville for Thanksgiving and discovered their vacation rental had been double booked. We had a last-minute cancellation for today, and were able to open the doors for this family to come on in. I was disappointed at the earlier cancelation, and then so thankful we were open for this tired, stressed family. Everything happens for a reason ❤️🦃

🌿 We first connected with this lovely couple over the summer, and though they initially envisioned a larger celebration, they found that The Manor's charm and intimacy—perfect for weddings up to 125 guests—felt just right. Sometimes, you just know when something is meant to be! We’re excited they are capturing their engagement photos here in a few weeks and celebrating their love story next spring.
