Aloha! OMG it's time to JUMP with joy! One of my favorite 'in love with' resorts in Hawaii since the beginning of time Is Kona Village. Let's say, going back 30 years and our first visit, with the most recent being in October 2010 when the whole office went for a weekend for a company familiarization tour. Then, sadly, in 2011, the tsunami flooded the resort and they closed, and then the pandemic, and they re-opened in 2023. Renee & Susie from California will be blown away in November at this iconic resort, now upgraded to a Rosewood. (Watch out Four Seasons & Auberge). And, shhhhhhhhhh, I'm working on my own 'fam tour' so I can bring you the experience, feel and photos of the new Kona Village from the perspective of a 30 year Kona Village love affair. In the meantime, I'm working on finding all the great photos we've taken over the years. Many are on slides. The 2010 photos are here somewhere 🧐. Ciao Bella! Alice & Loren, Pat & Jim, and Linda and Paul are blissfully meandering across Italy with Perillo Tours as I type this post. After 13 days of lovely Italy, they are going to Greece (Athens & Corfu) for a few days. Grazie and Mahalo for being wonderful clients for 13 years!

IaOrana! Honeymooning in the Island of Love is nothing less than heavenly! Sissy and Dean from Northern California will be tickled pink (and then some) on their honeymoon going to the lovely Tahitian Islands, including Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa and Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort in overwater bungaloiws. A huge Maruru'uru roa to Leslie from Texas for referring this lovely couple to McCoy. Sissy & Dean are a pleasure to work with and I look forward to adding special touches to make their honeymoon 'out of this world'. xoxoxo.s

Aloha - I am celebrating my 50th year in Hawaii today! We arrived about 2pm with my then boyfriend, Michael. We hitchhiked to Lahaina and stayed at the Lahainaluna Hotel which later turned into the Lahaina Inn. It was $25 a night. Downstairs was a pool bar (as in playing pool), with Heineken beers costing a whopping $1.50. You could not buy Coors in Hawaii because in 1974, Coors beer did not have preservatives so it could not be shipped to Hawaii. Just a bit of trivia. Here are a few photos from over the years. I'm taking this fun opportunity to go through all of my online photos (that I've taken) to pick some favorite photos to share and then some. Time to get the old fashioned photo albums out and find some fun photos from the 1970s and beyond. Over the rest of the month I'll be posting LOTS of photos from my 50 years in Hawaii. 45 years on Maui and 5 years on Kauai. E Komo Mai to my 50 years in the Islands of Aloha! Counting blessings for sure.............

Aloha! Bill & Susie and their children from Ohio will be spending Christmas and New Years in our beautiful islands. We arranged their honeymoon to Fiji 20 years ago and a few vacations in between to the Caribbean and Europe. Yes, this is their 20th wedding anniversary! First stop is Four Seasons Hualalai for all the pampering to be had and off to Maui at the Grand Wailea for fun and smiles for the whole family! Mahalo for your continued patronage for all these years :).

Aloha, yesterday was stunning on Maui after our couple days of rain. Here is a gorgeous video looking out over Hookipa towards the West Maui Mountains. And then, topping off the day enjoying a fabulous late lunch at Mama's Fish House with a good friend.

Aloha! Shhhhhhh don't tell anyone. FUN is to be had at Mahalo Ale Works in Pukalani. Live music every night 6-8, except on Trivia Tuesdays/Taco Tuesdays. Designer brewed beer with a view xoxoxoxo.

IaOrana! Romance is in the air in the Islands of Love! Dennis and Lizzie from California. They will be celebrating their 20th anniversary for 20 days in overwater bungalows, island hoping to Moorea, Bora Bora and Tahaa. Their first stop is the very frenchie, Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea. Oh la la :). Next stop, Le Tahaa Private Island and then the ultimate lovie dovie at the Four Seasons Bora Bora in a plunge pool overwater bungalow. McCoy arranged their honeymoon 20 years ago to Tahiti! Mauru'uru roa for 20 years of allowing McCoy to assist with all of your family vacations and personal getaways! Happy Anniversary! I can't wait to start planning another family vacation to Japan for 2025!

Halla! Helene from California has decided to go solo again and just reserved a fantastic Scandanavian land tour for 2025. Tauck Tours receives rave reviews from our McCoy clients (and everyone else :) with their exclusive and immersive events and experiences. Earlier this year, Helene met up with her good friend Susan on a Tauck Italy land tour which they loved. On her way to Italy, Helene visited Dublin and Amsterdam. It was fun assisting her with planning excursions in both places. I use a tour planning company that has tours all over the world that I've used for Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand and several European countries. It's always been smooth sailing which is a miracle :)
Helene has been a client for 2 years, enjoying an Alaska Cruise on Silversea and a Tauck River cruise on the Rhone River. A big Mahalo to Al & Susan from Colorado for referring Helene and for all of their business for over 20 years! Helene is extremely wonderful to work with. Everyone has been heading to Europe since they re-opened after Covid. Viking Cruises as been popular too! It's been super busy the last month but I'm back posting to FB with places clients have been traveling to and will be traveling too. Lots of catch up to do! Hoping everyone enjoys!!!! I am :).

Aloha! All I can say is I LOVE it when the resorts I work with go above and beyond to make my clients happy! I asked and they said yes :). Today, it was an upgrade to an oceanfront room. Shhhhhh...... I can't tell you which Hawaii resort it is. I can only tell you that EVERYONE is happy :).

Aloha! Chad & Jen from Indiana had their special Hawaii vacation to Hawaii cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic! Better late than never! In fact, they will now be celebrating their 30th anniversary and Jen's 50th, staying at the Outrigger Waikiki in a Club oceanview room and then 9 nights as the very sweet boutique small resort, the Koa Kea on Kauai in an oceanfront room! What a wonderful way to celebrate! Cheers!

Aloha! We visited a private farm in KULA and were thrilled that there were 2 baby miniature donkeys, 2 brand new twin baby doll sheeps, alpacas and a brand new c**t. What a treat 🙂

Kia Ora! Derek & Jami and family are going on a fun New Zealand winter vacation to Rotorua next month (New Zealand's winter). There is so much to do and see in Rotorua with the massive thermal valleys & geyser, spas, mud baths AND zipling and adventure park fun. They are also going to Hobbiton (land of the hobbits) and Waitomo Caves to take a boat ride into caverns that have the magical glow worms. We're pre-reserving all adventures which is oodles of fun (for them and me :). The tours & adventures are the FUN stuff! Derek & Jami went to Tahiti with friends in 2021 to Hotel Kia Ora in Rangiroa & the Intercontinental Thalasso Bora Bora. Mahalo for being clients since 2011!
