Happy New Year Travelers. I am so glad 2024 is in the rearview mirror. I just know 2025 is going to be better. I thought I would send a little update on what's going on so far.
Lion King Musical: January 21 - 22. Sold Out

Nashville: March 30th - April 5th. $1208 (5) rooms left

Nashville: April 27th - May 3rd $1208 Sold Out

Detroit May 19th - 24th $942 All requested flyers sent out. If you do not receive requested info, just msg me. Also, I had a new traveler sign up at the picnic. She didn't leave an address. If you happen to know Thersa Hruska please send me her address.
The enclosed baseball form is very important. Please get it back to me a.s.a.p. I need to know how many tickets to reserve.

Route 66: Announcement: Bay Bus is going to be doing this trip.
I will be undergoing a knee replacement and will need recovery time. I will send the information to the folks that have requested it. I have wanted to do this trip for a long time. I put this off three years too long, now it's a problem.

Just wanted to share this with you. You know how I always say I have the best travelers. Well, once again it was proven to be true. I had a new traveler who
Is a quilter and obviously an excellent sewer. When the time came for our fund raising portion of the trip. I told my group we are raising money to purchase a service dog for a veteran. Chris Collins from Lanse, saw a picture in the American Legion magazine and she went to work. Putting her excellent skills to task, she made this dog bed for our future service dog. Thank you Chris.
I can tell you it brought tears.

Hello Travelers!
As my husband goes through the house preparing to leave for camp, I am hiding out in my office. I know just stay out of the way.
Just a reminder, the balance for the Lion King Musical is due.
I do still have five rooms left so give me a call.

I have plenty of openings for the March/April Nashville trip.
Mar 30 - Apr 5, $1208 pp. based on dbl occ. Additional charge for singles.

The second Nashville trip in Apr is full.

My plan for the days bob is gone to camp is to complete the Detroit trip. Wish me luck, as my son is home from Texas and all I want to do is spoil him. Mom was lonesome. Of course he's a hunter also. So folks I'll talk to you in a few days.

Hello Travelers
Sending my apologies for not posting recently. Busy would be an understatement. Canning, yard work in preparation for winter. Two funerals. New roof, and seemless gutters put on. Then we get hit with an unexpected ouch. According to our plumber, we need to put in a new drain field. That was not on our radar. My flower beds turned to weeds this summer, so I'm trying to get that cleaned out. Yup busy.
Anyway, the reason I am writing a line is to inform folks I only have 8 rooms left for Lion King. Or 11 tickets. So, get your deposits in soon. Don't wait. This is going to sell out.
In the mean time go out and enjoy the end of Fall.

Good morning travelers!
Just a quick little update. Branson itineraries mailed. Lion King info sent out. Nashville info - most sent. I ran out of flyers, I will order more today. However I am leaving for a trip. We won't be back until the 20th. So if you don't receive anything this week, I'll get it out as soon as I can. No worries, if you signed up at the picnic, you're good. Enjoy your day.

Four more days and it's off to Washington D.C., so blessed to have good friends to house sit. By the way, for those traveling on this trip. I suggest bringing an umbrella, better safe than sorry. a throw for those that get cold from air conditioning on the bus.

fYI, Branson up-dates/itineraries went out Thursday.

2025 itinerary for the Lion King musical is ready to go. I will try to get it in the mail today.

Today, I'm going to try to get the Nashville info ready. No guarantee on this one. I need to start packing and gathering my stuff for D C.

It's also that time of year when we try to get all of our medical apt's out of the way so we're good to go for another year. along with catching up from a busy year. I think I am almost there. We are having work done on our house so it's a little crazy around here.

Thank you for making this girl feel so loved. All the blessings and birthday wishes, cards, gifts, friendship and a beautiful day for the travelers picnic, it just can't get any better than that.
It took me a few days to recoup, and to put things away. Doctors and dentist appointments for the next few days, then back at it.
Judging by the calls and messages this is going to be a busy upcoming year. I will post trips this week when I slow down.

It's starting to look like it's picnic time. The totes of utensils have come out. Tables, table cloths, baskets are ready, 21 items for silent auction are packed, turkeys thawing, did I mention Cajun turkey is on the menu. My B-I-L chef Goober is cooking. Of course stacks of flyers For 2025. It looks like the weather is going to be awesome. So come out and enjoy the day.
August 24th starts at noon, eats at 1:00, at Lanse township Park. Follow the hot pink signs.

It's coming, it's just around the corner! 😀 Where did summer go.
August 24th will be here before you know it.
That's right, time to gather travelers.
The Upper Peninsula Travelers potluck picnic at the Lanse township Park is almost here. Starts at noon until?
Come out and enjoy the day. My brother in law is cooking Cajun turkeys once again.
There will be 50/50, donated gift baskets, a silent auction, quilt chances all for fund raising to someday purchase a service dog for a vet.
Of course, I may hay some information you may be interested in ! See you there! 😁

Hi Travelers.
Just wanted to inform you I am canceling the Detroit plans for 2024. I've had so much on my plate this year, I've fallen way behind in planning. I'm sorry for the disappointment this may cause.
My motto is if you can't do it right then don't do it. With only two months before the date, it's just not enough time to plan.
For sure 2025, and a different month.
