Hello Inspired Fans!

I have had a few of you reach about about the potential for summer camps this year, and let's just say it has me InSpIrEd!

Would you be interested in any of the following options below?

-3-day camps -various themes like art technique, fairy camp, Harry Potter, etc.

-Day Camps -various themes or projects

-Private or Semi-private camps -1 or multi day options either at a location of choice or my house.

-Birthday Parties

Dates, times and themes will be determined by interest. Generally speaking these camps/classes will be for ages 6-11yrs and will be held at my house near Goose Island.

Today is Inspired's 10th Anniversary!
And how fitting that I have spent this entire weekend hosting Elf Workshops!

When I decided to close my brick and mortar doors in 2017, I had no idea what the future for Inspired would look like. I had ideas and a couple irons in the fire at that time, but I knew I would invite people into my home to create and I hoped I would get invited into yours! And that is exactly what happened!

I have spent this weekend covered in all sorts of art supplies and just full of gratitude! When I look back on the last 10 years, my heart is so full. To be a small part of your lives has been a real gift, one I will always cherish!

So today, when I think of all that Inspired has been over the last decade, I am most grateful for YOU! My incredible Inspired supporters! Thank you for 10 incredible years!

I have been getting requests for some private art sessions this summer and thought I would offer this to everyone!

I can come to your location or you can come to me, either way! With private sessions you can choose what projects you want to do and who you would like to invite! Plus time and location!

🎂Happy 8th Birthday Inspired!🎂

When I look back at the 8 years of Inspired, I am still blown away that this dream became reality! Over 3 years ago I closed by doors to the brick and mortar shop and thought, that was a good run and a ton of fun, but time to move on! Well, I am happy to say YOU have not let that happen! Inspired is alive and well! While it may look totally different, the essence is the same!
I just got done hosting the annual Elf Workshop, covid style and have been working on custom orders for months! I LOVE that I can still be Inspired, and that is because of all of YOU!

It is YOU that wouldn't let Inspired go, It was YOU that booked that birthday party or sent your kid to my summer camps at my house! It was YOU that ordered custom doll clothes, gnomes, and tie-dyes! It was YOU that picked up an Elf Workshop Kit, or 2! So really, YOU are Inspired! And I Thank YOU for all your continual support! I will celebrate today by working on gifts I am making for the holidays, while I reflect on the amazing journey that has been, Inspired!

Okay Inspired FANS!! ELF WORKSHOP TIME!! I am thinking of Saturday, Nov. 23rd from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. I will only be able to take 10 kiddos. It will be at my house near Goose Island and cost will be $65. Everyone will leave with at least 4 wrapped handmade gifts! Hello everyone!
This type of weather has me thinking about and Elf Workshop! I would love to host one again this year as it is my favorite event I do! Helping children make handmade gifts for those they love for the holidays; it is awesome! So here is my question to you... If I hosted an Elf Workshop this year, would you sign your child up and if so, what Saturday in Nov. would you prefer? 🎨

Yesterday Inspired turned 6!!! 🎉To me, it feels like a big deal to still be in the community "Inspiring!" I closed my brick and mortar location over a year ago, which some times I very much miss, but for for the most part it was a good move.
Inspired on the GO, has been thriving! I love that this community welcomes Inspired into their homes and is also happy to come to mine or any location I throw out there. You are all AMAZING! Yesterday I had a client pick up a custom order from me, this advent spiral below... It was the perfect way to celebrate 6 years in business! Thank you all so much for your continual support of Inspired and me! I couldn't quit you if I tried! ❤🎨

I have had a couple requests for a Doll Making Workshop, wanted to see if there is enough interest out there to hold one. It would be held over the course of three different days, about 5 hours each day.

Today in Tiny Hands we made butterfly suncatchers! These children are just the cutest and I love making art with them! We also went for a walk to throw rocks in the water, used some binoculars to see what there was to see, made our way to the water pump again and ended with a picnic and story! I ❤ Tiny Hands!

Tiny Hands, you had me at hello!

Today was day one of Tiny Hands Summer Edition and it was so fun! We made binoculars and the kids loved them! We also played at the park, went for an explorer walk, and cooled off at the water pump! We ended our day with a picnic lunch and a story!

Today was Wizard Camp!
What a great way to start the Inspired Camp Season! I am not sure how to top this one?
We made wands and spell books (with some super crafty spells), created 3 different potions with labels and had a magical time! Bone dust, dragon blood, ogre tears and more were used to create magic today!
Thank you so much to the wonderful wizards that came today!

I am looking forward to spending two great days outdoors with your kiddos this summer! Making art in nature is one of my favs! I have some great projects planned for this camp as well as some great outdoor activities! This is one is not to be missed!

Happy SUNDAY Everyone! Since Inspired has been "on the GO" I have more time to do things around my own house, and being I have all those artist tendencies I have been getting pretty creative around here! Today I will be starting a new pallet wall project to compete the area that had that terrible green counter! I will post picture later this week once it is done! So, you guys, tomorrow my oldest daughter turns 16...SIXTEEN. This just doesn't seem right since I swear she was just born yesterday? Hmmmm?

One of the things I loved most about my children's birthday's was throwing big parties with all our friends and family. My favorite party was the Carnaval party! We had games with prizes, a dunk tank, carnival food, and just overall an amazing time that the kids will never forget! That party led to me think I might want to be an event coordinator, specializing in birthday's! But, I also loved teaching art classes and selling my own artwork. Put all of those things together and you have what Inspired, Inspired!

I AbSoLuTeLy LOVE planning and hosting parties, it is a blast! I think what I love most about it is making someone feel SO very special! I love thinking of all the little details that will make their event extra sweet and personal! We all deserve to feel extra special from time to time, and being able to do that as my job is a real blessing!

So thank you to all those out there that have had me coordinate their party or parties, it was truly my pleasure! And I look forward to all the birthday's that I have yet to host!

It's FRIDAY!!!!!! WooHOO! This week I focused on a few house projects that really needed some creative thought...

We remodeled our kitchen a while ago, but we have this one area that is just a hot mess, ugly green counter that has giant boxes built on it, that leads into the half wall going downstairs, seriously it is awful.

Being that I am not ready to make a permeant choice for this section of my house, I decided that I could at least make it pretty. This is when we insert artist Jeni into the mix... I ended up using my acrylic paints and made that green counter disappear! Hemmed and hawed for a bit before I started but I came to the conclusion that ANYTHING is going to be better than this horrible green. Sometimes we have to just use what we have to make something in our lives better! And I am so glad I did! That hot mess, is now just a luke warm mess, that still needs attention, but makes me much happier!
