Avfuel has been Colgan Air's fuel provider for over 30 years and offers support to our business in a variety of ways - through training, equipment support, logistics, marketing etc etc! We are grateful for our continued partnership and love working with a fellow family business!

Many of you might recognize one of the individuals below as Bill Beseler, Colgan Air's Line Service Supervisor. He is one of our hardest working, most dedicated and longest serving employees, who always has a positive attitude, a smile on his face and a random historical fact to share. He's our in house encyclopedia!

Bill's family could use some extra support right now. Summer, Bill's wife, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Even with insurance, medical bills can cause immense financial stress and additional burdens. Please consider a donation of any size to the Beseler family as they navigate their new reality while raising 2 young boys.

We know Summer is a fighter and will kick cancers butt. We're grateful to have Bill as one of our key team members, and appreciate our community supporting the Beselers during this unimaginably difficult time.

Dreaming of getting your pilots license but not sure where to begin? Taking a Ground School course is an excellent first step into the process! Colgan Air will hold a Fall Private Pilot Ground School beginning on Monday, October 28. Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 - 9 pm for 8 weeks. The registration fee is $300 plus materials. Stop in or call our front desk to register or for more information!

Servicing and hosting Air Force One and it's support aircraft can feel like participating in an airshow as you can see in these videos! There are many moving parts, lots of security and numerous requests to manage, but it's always an honor to work side by side with the highly professional and skilled military personnel to execute their mission.

Election season can be a busy time around here and as always, we cannot do it without our dedicated staff who worked over the holiday weekend to make it happen. We are grateful to be busy and eagerly await the next VIP visit during this busy election season 🇺🇸✈️🇺🇸

As you may be aware, President Biden will be coming to the La Crosse Airport Thursday for an event at another location. This VIP event will require a Temporary Flight Restriction and a temporary closure to the General Aviation side of the airfield including the T-hangars.

Fisherman’s Road and north Fanta Reed Road will also be closed. Please see below for details on the timeline.

Fisherman’s Road Closure: Tuesday 09/03/24 8:00pm; will re-open Friday 09/06/24 at 7:00am

AOA – General Aviation Hangars: Closed Wednesday 09/04/24 12:00pm – Thursday 09/05/24 6:00pm

Temporary Flight Restriction to all aircraft: Thursday 09/05/24 12:30pm – 5:45pm

Another busy weekend for our crew! We’re grateful to be busy and to have a hardworking team with positive attitudes dedicating their weekends to us. Extra big shout out to our Line Service Supervisor, Bill, who held down the fort all weekend long.

This weekend was extra special though! Our General Manager’s daughter, Haley, got married! Haley and her husband, Kyle, have been a key part of our team during military charters so it was only appropriate that we had a weekend FULL of military charters to add to the backdrop of their beautiful wedding. We love the Lubinsky family and really LOVE that a photo of the bride and groom was captured next to one extra unique military charter. 💍👰🤵‍♂️✈️

Oh, and the Father of the Bride did get this weekend off! 😉🥳
