World Travel is a full service travel agency headquartered in Fayetteville, Texas. Originally established in 1984 in La Grange, Texas by Dorothy Naiser, World Travel was launched with a focus on deluxe leisure and corporate travel. In 1986, Dorothy was joined by her daughter, Becky Vitek, who now serves as the owner and manager. We now have branch offices in La Grange, College Station, and San Ant
onio. Our company receives high accreditation marks each year from the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) and IATAN. Our agents assist with flights, hotels, cruises, Caribbean and international travel, rental cars, tours, sight seeing and travel insurance. Our knowledge is gathered from years of travel, trade shows, familiarization trips and from all of our clients. Word of mouth has been our greatest form of advertising. Our goal is to make each clients travel experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
This summer has been a whirlwind for World Travel! With clients all over the globe, I am just now getting a chance to share all the adventures! First up for this sweet family was an escape to the Colorado mountains in a charming little cabin right on the river just outside of Durango!
Next up in đ¨đŚ- What started as a gentle walk uphill around Lake Louise quickly turned into almost 10 miles of navigating lots of avalanche debris, sheer cliff drops and steep mountain scrambles through stunning glaciers. Our most challenging hike yet with intense elevation gain but also our most rewarding! The little tea house at the top of the mountain was a charming stop for a break. I almost died twice on this trail but only cried once (due to almost loosing a few fingers) đ Plain of Six Glaciers trail was one of my âmust doâ trails in Canada and it was well worth

How do you make the most of your travel budget? Allow me to show you the way:

Donât delay booking. Prices can fluctuate at the drop of a hat, so booking well in advance is a must.

Have a plan. Have a general idea of how much you want to spend each day of your vacation so you can stay on track.

Donât fall for false advertising. Sometimes a travel deal looks just fine, but then you get to the fine print and realize itâs not as great as it seems. Keep an eye on the fine print for blackout dates and hidden fees.

Work with a travel agent. I have access to offers and tons of value-added things that you wonât get when you book online through a third-party website.

Plan out what youâll wear every day of the trip so you donât overpack or forget items youâll need. I also love this hack because it takes away daily decision-making when Iâm actually on vacation.
đPacking cubes are your best friend
Packing cubes keep things compact and organized and help you max out the space in your carry-on. Theyâre also great for keeping clothing sorted.
đPack coordinating items you can mix and match
5 tops, 4 bottoms, a couple of dresses, and a jacket or sweater can turn into dozens of outfits if you coordinate them correctly. I also love versatile items like scarves that can be worn in lots of different ways.
How special it is for my client to be in Normandy today, the 80th anniversary of D-Day! I canât wait to hear about the celebrations he had the privilege to be a part of along with the US President, military dignitary, and the King of England. I literally breathe a sigh of relief every time a client makes it to the airport, boards their flight, and is officially on the way.
But what happens if you do miss your flight?
1ď¸âŁ First, if youâre headed to the airport and youâre pretty sure you wonât make your flight, contact the airline en route to let them know. They may even be able to start making arrangements for a new flight.
2ď¸âŁ When you arrive, make a beeline for the airlineâs customer service desk â theyâre your best allies for getting booked onto another flight.
3ď¸âŁ Get in touch with your travel advisor (Hey hey, thatâs me!) so I can re-arrange your airport transfers and call the hotel to let them know youâre arriving later so you donât risk getting bumped in an overbooking situation, or getting stuck with the worst room.
When travel plans hang in the balance, itâs a must to have support and someone to help smooth things over.

This sweet family spent time at Atlantis in the Bahamas recently for their annual summer vacation. I just love that they put time together as a top priority! Atlantis is a perfect destination for a multi-generational family trip!
Even as a travel agent with the best made plans, things go wrong that we canât decontrol. After flight constant delays, other flights full, an overnight in a hotel to catch a flight the next day, we arrived at our destination 24 hours later than planned.
