Crater Lake National Park for Labor Day? Expect a 2 HOUR wait in line.

Headed to Crater Lake this holiday weekend? You're not alone! Here are some things to know:

- The only way into the park on Friday, 8/30 is through the South Entrance Station. Expect very long lines and waits up to 2 hours. Please bring your patience along with plenty of water and snacks to enjoy while you wait.

- If the park is not your destination and you are traveling on Highway 62 through the park to get to somewhere else, please consider using an alternative route.

- The North Entrance to the park will be open on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday ONLY. Expect long lines and up to 2 hour waits at both entrances on those days too, especially Saturday and Sunday.
