As we wrap up the season with the stunning fall colors and festivities, we can’t help but look forward to next year! The Madeline Island Marathon weekend will kick things off, and it’s one of our favorite events. Be sure to check out the event page to learn more and start planning for next season!

Looking forward to May 17, 2025! 👏 One of the best things about our race is that everyone can be part of the fun! Whether you’re coming to run or to volunteer with us, we are all part of this awesome experience! Get your friends and family together and make a plan to join us on Madeline Island! Race registration is open on our website and event crew registration will open in the spring.

Madeline Island Fall Festival is Saturday, October 19th. Make a plan to come over to the island and enjoy some fun Fall activities!

This annual event takes place on the third weekend in October and celebrates the island's fall colors, local art, and community. The festival includes a farmer's market, art vendors, food booths, artist demonstrations, a vintage car show, and free activities for families. The festival will be held on October 19 from 10 AM–3 PM

It will be a busy 4th of July on the island!

We are expecting heavy traffic to Madeline Island today July 3rd and Saturday July 6th. Customers should expect long wait times. Traffic to the island on both days will be rerouted up Washington Avenue. Please follow posted detour signs. To help with vehicle congestion parking on Washington Avenue on these days is not available.

Jasper, Simon, and Oliver love the island just as much as we do, and they want our guests to know that your furbabies are welcome here too! We know they'll enjoy the island just as much as you will! Plus Dogs get to ride the ferry for free!

Make sure to bring a leash and clean up after your pets while you have fun exploring everything the island has to offer! Dogs are welcome at Big Bay Town Park, Big Bay State Park and Joni’s Beach.
