I'm on safari in Kenya/Tanzania: Letā€™s pull back the curtain so I can explain what Iā€™m doing here.

Iā€™m not on vacation (even tho I wish I really was) ā€” Iā€™m in East Africa to do as much as I can in 2 weeks so I can make the best use of my travel clientsā€™ time and money.

That means:

šŸ¦ Visiting 25+ safari camps. Iā€™ve already seen several ā€” and even stayed at a few so I know what is good fit for my clients... more lodges yet to come.

šŸ¦’ Trying out all the transportation modes to see whatā€™s most efficient and comfortable for getting from point A to B, and also for game drives. Trust me there is a BIG difference in company safari vehicles to consider.

šŸ¦ Spending hours one-on-one with my host, Great Safaris LLC's CEO, Guillaume van Wyk , and his local teams to understand the details for putting together a seamless experience.

11 Days in Egypt with a Private Egyptologist ... an incredible journey. We started the trip with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, including the Royal Mummies, that was a great introduction to Egypt. The Hanging Church is the most famous Coptic Christian church in Cairo and not to be missed. After a short flight to Luxor we traveled the same day to Dendara and Abydos - considered two of the best preserved Temple Complexes in Egypt. During the 4-night cruise on the Nile we visited Luxor, Karnak, Valley of the Kings including several tombs, Edfu and many more along the way, with a relaxing Felluca ride. Stopped at Abu Simbel on our way back to Cairo and highly recommended. Explored the largest museum in the world, the Grand Egyptian Museum, ride a camel next to the Great Pyramids and visited the Saqqara Step Pyramid - the First Pyramid in Egypt built 4700 years ago. Egypt has much to offer and definitely a repeat destination. Travel in luxury.

If you are a wine aficionado, you should not miss a visit to the wineries, as South Africa is home to some of the best wineries in the world, and you can sample many local wines in the beautiful settings of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Our Safaris can take you from Cape Town to the Greater Kruger and North beyond Johannesburg, or from Botswana and up towards the Serengeti where the grass extends forever and ever and ever... where in a single vista you can see tens of thousands of animals during the great migration.

The Serengeti ecosystem extends across the border into Kenya, where it becomes known as the Masai Mara. Aside from the migration, one of your most amazing wildlife experiences will surely be gorilla trekking in Uganda.
