Our local waters are starting to produce some nice clean quality striped bass out of Barnegat light. Along with that fluke season opened up today and the bluefish are running through the bay. Ocean temps are around 51 degrees and the mid bay is around 56 degrees. As the waters temps continue to rise fishing should only continue to get better. I will be running afternoon trips during the week from 4:30pm-8:00pm and I have a few weekend afternoon trips available 1:00pm-6:00pm for the month of May. The striped bass fishing continues to be about as good as it gets. We had 2 great morning feeds this past Saturday and Sunday with it being a slower pick throughout the late morning and early afternoon. As the water temps continue to drop we should start to see more keeper size fish in our local waters. I have 2 spots available for an open boat trip this Saturday 11/11 and I have full boat availability for this Sunday 11/12. Price is $180 pp for open boat and $500 for the full boat 3 anglers max. Sunday 6/18 just became available for Seabass, Fluke, and Bluefish due to a cancellation. The weather forecast looks great. I will be sailing from 6:00 am and returning at 1:00 pm.
