Our Story

Yankee Trails, Inc. was started in 1957 by John Tobin Jr. in Rensselaer, NY. With only two buses, John worked hard to grow his business into the leading motor coach tour and charter company in Upstate New York. John had seven children who are now running the company and in 1999 added a full service travel agency. In 2014 they once again expanded, this time bringing both motor coach tours and charters, as well as their travel agency to The Villages Community of Central Florida. As the next generation of Yankee Trails staff and family continue to grow the business, they look forward to serving everyone with the same friendly, courteous and professional experience that has allowed them to do so. To those who give us the opportunity to assist in planning their next day trip, group outing or extended vacation, we say “Welcome to the Family”!
