FastTrack Foundational Coach Training provides you with the knowledge to grow or develop an external or internal coaching practice. In addition, FastTrack asks you to work with your own coach, using the course as a platform for personal growth and transformation from the inside out. Using a webinar platform, this 60 hour course explores the eleven Core Coaching Competencies of the International Coach Federation (detailed below). FastTrack covers each of ICF's 11 Core Coaching Competencies in depth:

The first hour of class covers theoretical concepts in coaching through presentation and interactive conversations. The second hour of each class is devoted to practice coaching and feedback. Between classes, students are expected to read the upcoming week’s class notes and other assigned reading, participate in once-a-week Peer Coaching, and complete the field work. The FastTrack program is highly interactive and includes:
24 hours of discussion about the ICF Core Coaching Competencies
24 hours of practice coaching
4 Coaching Labs - each 2 hours (concentrated practice on specific coaching skills)
3 one-hour Observed Coaching Sessions with feedback
2 coaching assessments
A Character Coaching & Positive Psychology orientation
Learning Objectives
By the completion of the FastTrack Foundational Coach Training course, participants will:
Learn the 11 Coach Federation (ICF) core competencies in depth
Practice coaching and being coached (becoming sensitive to the experience of the client)
Learn how the coaching skill set is used in the business environment
Apply coaching practices to their work and lives
Have a deeper understanding of coaching philosophies, models and evidence-based theories on which the profession stands
Develop an array of coaching tools, techniques, and strategies
Be familiar with and committed to the ethical standards of the coaching profession
Be able to identify what “is not being said”
Determine who is “coachable” and discern when to refer a client to other professionals
Understand the difference between coaching and other professions (e.g., therapy, counseling, consulting)
Recognize that who you are is just as important as what you know
Nuts and Bolts:
Students will need access to high speed internet to participate in the course. Tuition includes three individual one-on-one mentor coaching sessions that review participants’ recorded coaching sessions, giving individual feedback on participants’ growth as a coach.
