Aloha, we just got back from Maui and Papakea resort is doing fine. No problems from the devastating and heartbreaking fires that affected Lahaina. We are about 5 miles north of Lahaina. Everything is open up around us and of course Lahaina Town is shut down. There are a lot of people who are being housed in hotels and taken care of by the Red Cross which is providing meals and support. There are distribution centers in various spots for food and toys for kids.
