Joining us on a snorkel trip with Gemini Sailing Charters? Here’s your checklist to ensure a fantastic adventure:

1. Swimsuit: Wear it under your clothes for easy changing. Don’t worry we have two bathrooms on board you can use!
2. Towel: For drying off after your swim.
3. Sunscreen: Don’t worry as we provide a Reef-safe sunscreen on board!
4. Hat & Sunglasses: To shield yourself from the sun.
5. Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the trip. But again do not worry we have plenty of water on board for you to drink.
6. Snorkel Gear: We provide this to you!
7. Waterproof Camera: Why worry about getting your camera destroyed when we have a professional photographer on board!
8. Light Cover-Up or Rash Guard: For sun protection when not in the water.

Whale Season 2022

It’s finally here! Today marks the official start of whale season! 🐋 Come join us on the Gemini for a whale watching adventure of a lifetime! Learn all about these magnificent humpback whales from our on board naturalists and see them up close and personal!! For the next four months we will be running a morning and afternoon whale watching experience daily, along with our snorkel sail adventure. Our Story

Gemini Sailing Charters was founded in 1983 in Maui, Hawaii. Sands Dyer and Trey Garnes purchased the sailing company from Gary & Ming Shipp, who began chartering out of the newly opened Ka‘anapali Alii in 1983 with their 50’ Gulfstar, SuperStar, and later with their 73’ schooner, Crystal Anna. As their family grew, so did their fleet and when the Westin Maui Resort & Spa opened, the Shipps purchased their 64’ luxury beach catamaran and with an expanded crew, Gemini was launched into Ka‘anapali’s Sailing fleet and has been the only boat since 1992.

Captains and the Crew have stayed together for years! Their team spirit along with creative management and efficient office team is what brings guests back year after year.
