Green Sea Turtles are easy to spot in shallow coastal waters near Hawaii due to their distinctive shells, which feature a smooth edge and a rounded beak. As juveniles, these turtles have a carnivorous diet; however, as they reach maturity their diet shifts towards more vegetarian fare such as seaweed and sea grasses.

Great whale watch today with Maui Adventure Cruises. Didn't get too many pictures. Spent quality time actually watching rather than taking bad pictures. Here is a snippet of a baby humpback flipping is tail. Jeremy and Tiffany made for an enjoyable crew.

Was rainy yesterday and today. Cleared up just before sunset. Took this long 3 min video from the phone of the sun going down over Lanai. Taken from the snorkeling area in front of Kuleana 208. You can see waves come up and listen to them as they crash until the sun goes down. In some frames there are whales in the distance but you really have a hard time seeing them with the camera pointed at the bright sun.

Went to Hookipa beach yesterday. Waves were up but this short video I made with my phone really doesn't capture the 15-20 foot waves that were happening.
