We were there 20 years ago when the towers fell. We saw terror in the eye and heroes rise from it. We waited an eternity for family from the Pentagon and friends from downtown to make contact even though we had no cell service. We felt the fear of what the new shape of NY was turned into on that beautiful Tuesday morning. We are still honored to call the USA our home after witnessing the resilience of its residents and how beautiful the city and country remained after the attacks. The events on 9/11 forever changed us. We have a heightened sense of gratitude and are happy to have The Chimney House as a family getaway. We hope that our guests truly enjoy their time away with loved ones and can fully enjoy the simple and sweet taste of life…like we strive to do.
