Earth Day is celebrated in the month of April.

While travel is a way to engage with different cultures and communities, we also know that there is a negative effect travel has on our earth. However, there are many wonderful ways to offset our carbon footprint.

Our consortia Ensemble Travel works with a wonderful non-profit Cool Effect that is leading the charge in projects that will off-set our carbon foot prints. In addition these projects help bolster underserved communities around the globe.

So excited to announce my brother in law David Leventhal’s hotel made the cover of Travel and Leisure magazine in April. Playa Viva is featured in the article about changing how we travel. David’s resort is known for its yoga retreats and work with turtle rescue. You can also do local community work. Or just have a relaxing vacation on the beautiful beach.
