Halloween is in full gear at the Magic Kingdom this week with the start of Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party tomorrow! Here’s what you need to know!
🎃 Arrive early! Although the party officially starts at 7 p.m., your ticket will get you into the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m.
🎃 Prioritize themed attractions! During the party, attractions such as Space Mountain, and the Mad Tea Party will have special Halloween overlays just for the party!
🎃 Be ready to snack! The Halloween party offers a variety of speciality themed snacks that are only available during the party hours!
🎃 Grab a spot for the parade in Frontierland! The first Boo To You Parade will begin at 8:15, and I recommend watching it from Frontierland as it’s typically less crowded there.
🎃 Villains abound! Disney has promised even more villainous sightings throughout the party this year! Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date locations and times for the characters!
🎃 Consider the dessert party! What could be better than a party within a party?? While the dessert party is an extra cost, it includes desserts, cheeses, and drinks along with a special reserved spot for the fireworks!
🎃 Don’t forget the merch! MNSSHP has limited edition merchandise that is only available during the party! Check the guide map for the locations!
🎃 Candy candy candy! Lastly, don’t forget to grab a bag for trick or treating around the park! There will be treat stations at several locations, so be sure to visit them all!

With over twenty resorts to choose from, narrowing down your pick to just one can be hard! But for me, the Art of Animation Resort has quickly become a favorite to stay at! Let’s check out my top five reasons for picking Art of Animation!
🎨 Spacious rooms and suites! Whether you’re looking for a typical value resort room or a family suite, this resort has your covered. The Little Mermaid rooms are your traditional value resort room with 2 queen beds or one king bed that can sleep up to 4 adults. For bigger families, the family suites offer more space as well as two bathrooms and three beds.
🎨 Skyliner access! I’ve become a Skyliner snob so quickly that now it’s a must for me to stay at a Skyliner resort. The easy access to and from Hollywood Studios and Epcot allows for a smoother start and end to a long park day.
🎨 Theming! There are four distinct areas of the resort that being to life four different Disney and Pixar animated movies. They all feature larger than life scenery along with our favorite friends from the movies! If you’re wanting a family suite, you can choose from The Lion King, Finding Nemo, or Cara themed suites. This is the perfect way to immerse yourself into the world of your favorite Disney film!
🎨 Value! Art of Animation is considered a Value Resort, which means it will typically be on the lower end of the pricing scale for Disney resorts. But don’t let that fool you! There is so much Disney magic at this resort that you’ll forget it’s a value resort. This is easily the best of the value resorts, and has one of the best pools on Disney property!
🎨 Cozy Cone Pool! While I’m not big on pools, I loved the cone-shaped cabanas as the Cozy Cone Pool! They are a perfect place to unwind, read a book, or take a nap! They are first come, first serve, so don’t miss out on this fun experience!
