McNeese Athletics would like to express our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Dow family. Richard was our broadcaster for many years, and even after his time with us, he continued to bleed Blue & Gold and cheered on the Cowboys and Cowgirls. He exemplified what a professional is in this business. He cared, not only about doing his job as a first-class broadcaster, but also cared about the student-athletes, coaches and staff. Most of all, Richard was a tremendous friend and human being. He loved his family more than anything and was always proud to tell stories about them. You'll be greatly missed Richard. We know you'll be ringing those cowbells and cheering us on.
