Over the years Huber and Associates have maintained the timeless roofing processes and yet still evolves with the current progresses of modern design and technology. Endureed© was the product of choice for multiple theme parks and zoos around the world. Synthetic thatch has the ability to give everything from an exotic, tropical, cottage, to even a Sahara Desert vibe. Endureed© is perfect for theme parks like this as it has a Class A fire rating and can last 50 years or more with little maintenance. The beautiful World Equestrian Center Hotel, located in Ocala FL, chose the synthetic slate. Also known as composite or faux slate, it is a roofing material designed to mimic the appearance and texture of natural slate, was also the choice for The Grand Bohemian Hotel in SC. A private residence in California has chosen a composite shingle for durability and adhering to building codes in a particular area. Manufactured to closely resemble the natural grain and texture of wood shingles, this allows for a realistic appearance that can even include variations in color and texture to mimic weathered or aged wood. Synthetic shingles were used on a pool pavilion to endure the weather in a hot, humid tropical environment.

Snow on a 'drunken weave' creates a fairytale look! This roof in Golden Valley, MN is currently being redone and was originally done by our experts back in the 1980's. A 'drunken weave' is done intentionally to create a visually appealing or rustic look on the roof. The shingles are laid in a manner that overlaps each other, but the edges are not perfectly aligned in a straight line, giving it a more natural and textured appearance.

The Chapel of Roses - Let's take a look back at this cottage re-roof by Huber back in 2015. This is located in San Jose CA, and was roofed in our own Country Cottage Roof. The Chapel was designed by architect Francis Harvey Slocombe in the 1920s. Every detail of the roof was carefully matched to the original roof. This design was achieved by steam-bending nearly every part of the roof, including the eaves, gables, ridges, hips and valleys.

This private residence is currently being completed by Huber and Associates in Georgia. The shingles on this roof are 18" Western Red Cedar and these are triple stacked in layers to create the lines in the roof. These details are added to create a unique and an attractive look. These rows are perfectly calculated by the team to ensure the installation is precise and achieves the desired effect on this particular design. Check out an example of a drawing needed to calculate the correct dimensions on each section.

New drone footage on the recently completed Riding Academy Hotel! This amazing hotel is is located in Ocala, FL and is an equestrians dream venue! This roof was completed in our Black Onyx Enviroslate. Enviroslate is a synthetic slate that was designed on 3D images of real slate that ensure the size, texture and look is true to nature, coupled with a durability that outlasts the natural.

It's not just another Friday—it's a "Tile-tally Happy Friday"!

On this private residence, high-quality clay is sourced and refined to achieve the desired texture and durability. The clay is then shaped into tiles by artisans who use their hands to mold each piece, ensuring a unique touch. With installation, special mortar mixture is used to set each tile. This not only enhances the tile's appearance but also adds an extra layer of protection against the elements. A properly installed and maintained clay tile roof can last for decades, often surpassing 50 years or more.

Huber and Associates is currently roofing this project in East Hampton, NY. On this private residence we are installing a Western Red Cedar, 24", No. 1 grade, pressure treated shingles and are being laid with a unique style that creates this amazing aesthetic appearance. When asked how the pattern on this roof is being installed, Vice President Jamin Huber states, “This roof has varying exposures of straight shingle courses, with occasional woven lines. There is no set pattern, so it creates it’s own unique and orderly style".
