America's Snow Sculpting Invitational kicks off on Wednesday, January 29th at 11 am, with 15 teams from across the country competing right here in Lake Geneva! 🏆❄️

WE LOVE COOL BALLOONING ADVENTURES FROM AROUND THE WORLD!

This abyss on Velebit Mountain became the scene of another incredible daredevil venture. Ivan Trifonov, a seventy-year-old Austrian with a Croatian passport, was the first man to try and successfully fly a hot-air balloon underground.

This experienced hot-air balloon pilot is already a proud holder of 4 Guinness records, and flying into the Mamet Cave, touching it's bottom and successfully flying out of the Cave is likely his fifth record, since no one has ever done such a thing before.

For flying underground Trifonov had to use a hot-air balloon specially designed for this unusual, and probably unrepeatable venture. His balloon was smaller than usual, and the brave pilot set on two gas tanks linked with steel pipes, instead of a basket.

This weekend, Lake Havasu City, AZ hosts one of the premier balloon events in the country, Havasu Balloon Fest. They’ve raised a lot of money over the years for local non-profits.

A BRAND NEW BALLOON
If you’re going to Dairyland Balloon Jubilee this summer in Marshfield, you’ll see a brand new balloon!

Enter a name and win! The Woller’s have teamed up with Nasonville Dairy to have a special shape cow balloon built and brought to Marshfield. But she needs a name!
