Saratoga Race Track, Six Flags Amusement Park, Prospect Mountain are close by. Churches of all denominations.

We recently had a family vacation at Lake George from July 10th to the 17th. We were in search of a rental that would accommodate 17 adults and two children. We chose Stony Hill Lakeside Estates which is a waterfront rental directly across from and within walking distance to both Lake George Village and Million Dollar Beach! The online pictures only provide you with glimpses of this rental! What an amazing property!! Upon our arrival we were met by the owners Laura and Ken and the property manager Pat. Truly wonderful people who showed us the complete property and all it has to offer. Everything about this rental is first class, the furnishings, kitchen appliances, washer dryer, dinnerware, silverware, completely stocked kitched, right down to the linens on the beds!! No detail is left unattended,
The boat house deck with an amazing few of the lake, village, and front row seat for the Thursday night fireworks over the Lake easily accomodated everyone in one of the beautiful cushioned wicker couches, chairs and chase lounges. Fishing right off the docks and the nearby shoreline was fantastic, one nice small mouth after another. The swimming area is shallow, roped off and was a hit for our 5 year old grandson. The rental is pet friendly which was a big plus for our silver lab. We got to spend a little time with Laura and Ken and felt like we had known them for years. Truly great people! I have been to Lake George about ten times over the years and have always tried to stay at different locations, be it a privately owned rental or one of the many resorts, I can honestly tell you this was without a doubt our best vacation yet! I look forward to staying at Stony Hill Lakeside Estate again!! Thank you Laura, Ken and Pat for hosting our family and providing us with such a beautiful week!!
