We’re sure everyone has been made aware of the shipwreck this is both Siren’s Gate and our current state of affairs. In late July the ship was caught in a bad storm that did major engine damage and punctured the hull. We were out of commission for a few weeks bandaging it the best we could so we could be back on the water to honor our commitments to our customers. We had plans to take the ship back out in early December to rebuild the motors and further repair the boat. Unfortunately, right before Thanksgiving, as we were getting ready to moor both engines gave out and we were blown ashore. Overnight the water level dropped and we found ourselves on land. We were having a trailer built to pull the boat out once the level was a little higher. Since then, the ship has suffered further damage both by nature and vandals. Currently we are waiting for our insurance to make a final decision and then we will move forward. We do have another ship in the works and we are excited to have the last few months behind us and cannot wait for some smooth sailing! We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and encouragement.

All of us over at River Rat Yacht Club sincerely appreciate the outpouring of concern and well-wishers from the community at large. We know there are many people who are understandably confused about what's happening with the Siren's Gate, and when it will be up and running again!

The monsoons in the last week have been pretty ferocious, and we ended up taking some storm damage. The ship is in the process of being repaired and will be back up and running by Saturday. You'll see us cruising around the lake again soon enough!
