Message from the Mayor - Carol Pritchett: I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday season. As you may know, North Carolina has identified 2023 as the “Year of the Trail”! In Lake Lure, we are fortunate to have a trail nearby for each of us to enjoy. I want to extend an open invitation to bikers, hikers, and riders! We are excited to have two major regional events scheduled on the trails this year. The first is the Carolina Climbers Coalition Rumble 2023, scheduled for February 24-26, 2023. The second event is Cycle NC's Mountain Ride, scheduled for August 4-6, 2023.
