Dear Family and Friends,
It has been a heartbreaking time for us as we process the devastation in Western North Carolina. Our beloved Chimney Rock and Lake Lure were severely damaged. Amazingly, our cottage was undamaged, which means it can now serve the community and provide housing for displaced residents.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who reached out to check on us. Your support and prayers mean so much.
Back in August, we visited the cottage to complete a renovation project and were thrilled with how the living room and downstairs bathroom turned out.
On our final night there, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in Chimney Rock, creating beautiful memories. The photos below were taken along the Broad River, at a beloved business that was completely destroyed. 💔
