Good afternoon! I just wanted to thank everyone that nominated me for the SWS Board of Directors as well as your support over the last 18 years with successfully managing nightly rentals at Southwood Shores & surrounding lake area properties. I can tell you that over the last 18 years I have been through a tremendous amount of challenges at Southwood Shores and I'm still here which says a lot.

Lynda Brown is an experienced ambassador for investment property owners in the Lake Area. She began in 1993 and now has over 30 years of Property Management and Real Estate experience. With her love for the lake area, Lynda began pursuing Real Estate at the lake in 2006. In 2012 she started her LLC, “Vacation Rentals in Lake of the Ozarks”. In 2017 she obtained her Missouri Broker’s License and opened her new LLC, Lake Ozarks Realty & Rentals, specializing in Real Estate and Nightly Rentals in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.

Lynda has served on the Executive Board for Lake of the Ozarks Vacation Rental Association, Southwood Shores Rental Board, and the LOVRA Public Relations Committee. She is a Past President of Lake of the Ozarks Rental Association. Lynda became a Certified Apartment Manager® (CAM) in 1997, Missouri Licensed Realtor in 2006, Missouri Broker in 2017 and Certified Resort & Second Home Specialist (RSPS) in 2022. In 2023 she served on the RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) and Public Relations Committees with the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors and received the RPAC Committee Member of the year for 2023.

We will soon be moving into the Historic White House!!
Here is a little history of this amazing piece of our Lake of the Ozark’s past.
It was built soon after the dam, in 1931, The White House Hotel, Cafe and Service Station was the first Hotel in the area.
It continued to operate until the 1960’s.
After some serious updating Stewart’s will now make it their new home!
