A little sightseeing and shopping on a perfect day in Lake Placid. Drove by these little places 100 times. Saturday was gorgeous, so we finally stopped in. Who knew? Great local booze and maple syrup right in nearby Keene. (P.S. Honor system for the maple syrup. Not the booze though...)

Well it's almost ready. A mere 7 months of hard work and one hell of a roller coaster ride, our Lake Placid dream cabin is almost complete. Just finishing a few renovations and then it's clean up time. Here are a few photos in the meantime. The cabin sits on two private wooded acres in the Adirondack wilderness. It's surrounded by white birch trees, tall evergreens, and lots of wildlife. With that said, it's only 8 minutes from Main Street in Lake Placid, and within 20 minutes of everything Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain have to offer. The cabin will be available on a limited basis for rental. Three bedroom, two bath. You can message us directly or book through Airbnb if you prefer.
