Genuine Log Cabin renovated in 2016. This cabin was re-designed to capture all the rustic charm of yesteryear, yet provide all the comforts of today. Enjoy unique privacy on 3 acres of wooded waterfront overlooking gorgeous Lake Pleasant. Enjoy the views from the wrap around deck and lakeside gazebo. We supply a very good set of binoculars AND a telescope for the amazing bird and wildlife viewing.
Two kayaks provided for exploring the lake, can dock them on our waterfront. Nightime is for star gazing, roasting marshmallows and telling tall tales around the firepit. You may choose to visit the local beach to swim, or can rent paddle boards and motorboats nearby for exploring the lake. We have lake access right out front for launching or docking our 2 kayaks. The main cabin is an open floorplan, gas fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping loft with one double and two twin beds. Classic wrap around porch is furnished with adirondack chairs, dining table, grill and one truly magnificent view. There is an additional one room cottage with luxurious queen bed, chandelier and incredible lake views, designed for the ultimate "glamping" (glamour camping) experience! The view from this little cottage is picture perfect. This can be used as your Master Bedroom or as luxury second bedroom. We supply nice bedding and linens, bath mats, kitchen and hand towels, but we do ask guests to bring their own beach and bath towels. What's to LOVE about this property? Ultimate Privacy (a rare find on the waterfront!), Views, Wildlife, Cuteness, Uniqueness and Plenty of Room to Roam on and around the property. What might you NOT love? The waterfront is accessible, but is not swimmable, it's too shallow and the lake bottom on the shoreline is muddy to walk out to the deeper part of lake, so use the kayaks to get out there. There is no washer/dryer for guest use. We do not have a/c (rarely needed around here), but we do provide fans for those warmer days and eves. No pets or smoking on property, not to be used for entertaining. Children 12 and over welcome, not appropriate for small children.
