Not to be outdone, we are also a world-wide hunting spot for prairie grouse as well, and guess what...that season opens this weekend!

Sharp-tail grouse and the greater prairie chicken call central, and western South Dakota home. Unlike pheasants, grouse love open prairies and shorter cover. Get a pair of good boots, a good dog, and a couple bottles of water and hit the prairies this weekend for a trip that is on the bucket list of many upland bird hunters.
