Who is ready to celebrate Chicot County's big 2-0-0!!
Chicot County was formed 200 years ago on October 25, 1823.
Join us at the Lake Chicot Fall Festival October 27-28, 2023. We'll have a booth to talk all things local history and some presentations scheduled at the Parish Hall of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
On Saturday, October 28 at 10:30, Dr. Anthony Borgognoni will present "The Italians of Sunnyside" with a book signing to follow with Libby Borgognoni.
Then at 1:30, we will present "Chicot County-Then and Now" looking at historical photos and maps of places across Chicot County.
Both presentations are free and open to the public!

To celebrate, we have two history presentations for you as part of the Lake Chicot Fall Festival this Saturday, October 28, at St. Mary's Parish Hall in Lake Village!

At 10:30, Dr. Anthony Borgognoni will present "The Italians of Sunnyside" with a book signing to follow with Libby Borgognoni at the St. Mary's Parish Hall.

At 1:30, we will present "Chicot County-Then and Now" at the St. Mary's Parish Hall.
Both events are free to the public.
