No boat no problem. Bring your fishing poles and drive just 4 miles to the nearest boat launch. With lots of other stops and campgrounds to check out just continue down the road for a 15 min drive to the end of Gilman to Mc Cloud Bridge Day use where the river runs into the lake. It’s a beautiful area.
