Clay Taylor, ALC, is a licensed real estate professional, sales associate, and REALTOR® for CBC Saunders Real Estate. He specializes in development
land (finished lots, subdivisions, and entitled acreage), agricultural land, hunting/recreational tracts, and ranches. He is one of the top sales and listing leaders of the company and earned the Bronze Circle of Distinction award from Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2011, 2012, and the Silver Circle of Distinction in 2013, recognizing his sales achievement on a National level. Along with these awards, Clay received the Florida Land Realtor of the year in 2012 from the Florida Chapter of the Realtors’ Land Institute and the Networking Award in 2013 from Realtors’ Land Institute National for the largest deal involving multiple Accredited Land Consultants. He received the prestigious “Top 2” award from Coldwell Banker Commercial, honoring the top 2% of all producers in the company nationwide. A Bachelor of Science degree was obtained in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida and prior to that he attended Carson Newman College in Jefferson TN and the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. His background includes 23 years with the Polk County School Board. Most of those years were at Lakeland High School as a teacher and defensive back coach. The last 10 years were served as the defensive coordinator, where he helped led the LHS team win the State Championship six times, and the “mythical” National Championship twice. Clay has earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation awarded by the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. He joins an elite group of land specialists who have attained an expert level of knowledge and experience. He is a member of FAR (Florida Association of REALTORS®), NAR (National Association of REALTORS®), LAR (Lakeland Association of REALTORS®) CID (Commercial & Industrial Division of LAR), and has served as treasurer of the Florida RLI Chapter since 2008. He is also a member of the Downtown Lakeland Kiwanis Club in downtown Lakeland, Florida. David Hitchcock, ALC, CCIM, has an excellent background in citrus and agricultural businesses. A thirty-year veteran of the Florida Agribusiness industry, his previous management positions for Bob Paul Citrus, Alcoma Packaging, Haines City CGA, and Helena Chemical give Hitchcock an insider's understanding of requirements needed for complex real estate transactions. For the past five years Hitchcock has concentrated on residential development properties. This includes selling many finished residential subdivisions, as well as bulk acreage for development. His diverse background gives him an extensive knowledge of properties throughout the entire State of Florida and helps provide guidance to agricultural property owners as they decide how to transition their properties to other uses. He is originally from Winter Haven, Florida where he received his Eagle Scout award in 1968. He graduated from the University of Florida (UF) on a football scholarship, where he obtained a BS degree in Physical Education. He lettered in wrestling and football and was the Most Valuable Player and co-captain of the 1973 Gator Football Team. Current interests include bicycling, both road and mountain biking.
