Wowza, we have had an AMAZING 3 days! Once I have taken a deep breath, I will have all sorts of updates and thoughts.

But, I have loved Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and this trip with my Sister.

Happy Tuesday from Disneyland!

I had a WILD travel day yesterday, but I got here! I'll be taking advantage of that direct flight in the future! 🤣

J and I were at Disneyland this morning, and had an amazing time!

We have done so much, including Mr. Toad (weird), Snow White (the queen is scary!), Pinocchio, Haunted Mansion Holiday (AMAZING), Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (SO much better than WDW), Storybook Canal Boats (delightful), Runaway Railways, Roger Rabbit, and it's a small world!

We grabbed some lunch at Pizza Planet and walked the 5 minute walk back to our hotel to take a needed AC rest!

We're headed to Disney California in a couple hours!

Good Morning from the Airport!

I'm headed to Anaheim this morning to meet my one and only Baby Sister at Disneyland for the week!

I'm flying into Long Beach with a connecting flight in Chicago, BUT soon there will actually be a direct flight via Southwest from Buffalo to Long Beach! Long Beach is just a 30 minute drive from Disneyland, and also just a delightful little airport. No need to deal with the craziness of LAX.

J and I have 4 days in Disneyland and 1 day at Universal Hollywood, park hoppers, a character meal, a dessert party, and lots of time to try all the snacks and drinks and attractions Disneyland has to offer! So follow along here and on my instagram, , for the play by play and overviews of what we're up to!

She's starting her day at DCA, and we'll be meeting up together before heading into Disneyland this afternoon!

Something to consider when visiting the Disney Parks 💭

1 on 1 time with Kiddos!

Whether it is a once in a lifetime trip or you are a regular visitor, consider taking the time to have personal 1:1 time with individual kids.

My daughters are similar in many ways, but when it comes to making choices, they always want the opposite. They also come out of their shells differently depending on what parent they're with!

This past week I had the opportunity to have a 1:1 day with my thrill averse 7 year old, Juliet. I was able to let her choose her park, and she chose Animal Kingdom! She discovered a love for all things Avatar and Pandora in our last trip, and couldn't wait to get back!

As a kiddo who isn't much into thrill rides, Animal Kingdom is a perfect fit. It was such a dream to be able to slowly take in animal exhibits, talk to cast members, take in shows, and even have a "fancy" meal at Nomad Lounge, just the two of us. We were even lucky enough to run into some friends in the park!

Juli and I were lucky to have a full day, but I've done this with just a few hours in Galaxy's Edge with my older daughter, and my husband has had some amazing meals 1:1 with our girls and some awesome Magic Kingdom time.

It's no secret that summer in Orlando is hot as...well you can finish that sentence. 🥵 BUT! There are ways to beat the heat, and a great way to do that is to take advantage of attractions with low wait times, comfy seats, and most importantly, AC pumping.

Do you love animatronic versions of our Presidents? Do you love naps in AC? Hall of Presidents is for you!

🦜 Enchanted Tiki Room

Do you really love birds? Especially ones that don't smell. Do you love songs that will be stuck in your head all day? Grab a Dole Whip (yes you can bring it in) and enjoy the AC!

🛋️ Carousel of Progress

Do you love technology? But like, in the past? Do you love naps in a room that smells kinda old and rotates for 20 minutes? Do this!

❄️ Frozen Singalong

This is a legit great show. No funny questions from me. Go see this show. Bring in a snack. Be ready for puns for the grownups and snow falling while Elsa sings for the smalls.

🪴 Living with the Land

Do you love plants and finding Hidden Mickeys? Excellent ride. Excellent AC. 10/10 recommend.

Happy 7th Birthday to my little Juliet!

She has always been a Disney Kid!

She made her first trip to Disney World when she was 18 months old! I wore her in a sling for much of the time, but she also was able to ride so many rides, she hugged so many characters, and she loves looking back at our photo books of that trip!

Many people ask, What's the perfect age to go to Disney? And it truly depends on your family!

If you DO think you would like to bring your family, younger than 3 is perfect? Because they are FREE!

I signed up as a Travel Agent in January, my first Client traveled in March, and I've had growth each month since!

I truly thought when I signed up as a TA, maybe I'll book for a friend or two, I'll book myself, but it has really already been such a joy! I so appreciate every single person who has booked with me, and just as importantly, mentioned me to a friend, or their family, or someone they work with!

When I was a little girl, growing up with little, the biggest dream I had was Disney. Being able to bring my own family on vacation, and to Disney in particular has brought so much happiness to my life and if you know me, it's become truly a love for me. I get emotional every trip knowing the memories I'm making with my family. I wish I could go back in time and whisper in Little Holly's ear that this is what the future had in store!
