Officially have 4 different cruise lines under my belt and one of the biggest questions I am asked is which one did you like best? My answer is simple, they all have their strengths and weaknesses and so far there isn’t one of the 4 that I wouldn’t sail on again.

Just returned from our first Celebrity Cruise and my honest review was it was nice, but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Pros: Quick check in process, friendly service, lots of activities and entertainment options, clean, spacious rooms (as spacious as cruise staterooms can be), easiest muster drill process.

Cons: Food was mediocre, cruise director was not as visible and fun as others we’ve met, wait staff in the dining room were not as personable (I love getting to know our waiters and hear their stories, don’t even remember our guy’s name), sometimes too many activities planned at once and missed things we would have liked to see.

Takeaways: Definitely a cruise line geared towards adults and the older crowds and although it wouldn’t be my first choice, I wouldn’t rule them out for the right price and itinerary.

Yesterday my husband, myself, and one of our favorite couples boarded the Celebrity Silhouette for a 4 night cruise to Key West and Bimini.

First time on this cruise line. First opinions are that this is definitely geared towards adults (there are families, but not as many), service is great, entertainment staff are funny as hell (Jason from Jamaica knew us by the end of last night 😂). We are also some of the first guests to experience their knew “Poolest Day Ever” sea day activities. Have front row seats for the pool Olympics today!
