Remembering two wonderful people tonight. Two people who are no longer with us in person but are still very present in spirit and thoughts. Hug those you love (maybe even those you don't) and make sure they know they are loved. Rest in peace Josh Wilkes and Nicole Manke Hamlin. We love you and miss you both.

Pro Tip -
Why we don't lay w**d fabric below mulch...Mulch composts so it is essentially a form of soil. You want your mulch to compost into your soil not on top of your w**d fabric. W**d fabric is a short term solution. We use w**d fabric below stone. For mulch it is better to spread directly on top of soil and then spread a w**d prevention product like Preen.

We don't do enough for our Veterans and their families. We don't do enough for others...Period. Nice to open up emails and find this from of a Veteran's wife. We will be taking care of their lawn and snow while he is deployed. Do something kind today.

So many things to be thankful for heading into the 2024 season. Today I was reminded of a couple. Land Visions has certainly grown over the years and our community has played a big role. Today, through The Evergreen Project we added another home that we will maintain while their soldier is deployed. We do this at no charge and we do it with honor and pride. We say these customers are on a "full ride scholarship", Lol. Another full ride scholarship
Customer turns 104 this year and we have been blessed to take care of her home for over 20 years. Needless to say she earned her "scholarship"! Thank you Mid-Michigan for allowing us to take care of your homes and businesses.

Brian and I had a marketing meeting this week. During this meeting the account rep asked us what is something that makes Land Visions stand out above other companies. Brian replied without hesitation “relationships”.

Land Visions builds relationships; with customers, with vendors, with property managers, and with staff. Brian truly instills in each of us the value of taking an extra minute, communicating, accountability and following through - so much so that many of us have stuck around on Team LV for nearly a decade or longer.

Truly good leadership always starts from the top down. We are so lucky to have a leader who constantly strives to do and be better, as a business and as a human.

It's been a busy week. Thank you to ALL of our team for putting in the hours clearing snow. It was a heavy (weight) snow and took great effort by everyone. Thanks to our extended Land Visions family (customers) for your patience. It's cooold!!!

All of our projects are special in one way or another. This particular project takes special to another level. The mat for hitting golf balls and 3 tier patio built up 2 feet from a mud bowl is something that you can't see until the project is done. To say this was special to Kevin, Lupe and Ken is an understatement. They ate lunch with the customers everyday. They became friends. Came back to the office today and said "man, we are going to miss them but we will stop and visit when we are around". So proud of this project and vision the crew had. Can't wait to see it with the new furniture in the Spring.
