09/05/2024

One in 10 men and one in 200 women are color blind - that's 13 million in the US. People with red-green Color Vision Deficiency (CVD, or β€œcolor blindness”) only see about 10% of the one million hues and shades visible to those with regular color vision.

In our continued efforts to make the Greater Lansing area more accessible to visitors and community members, Choose Lansing has partnered with EnChroma to provide EnChroma glasses to local attractions.

The glasses are available at Potter Park Zoo, the Michigan State Capitol, Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, and Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU. The glasses help people with red-green color blindness experience more vibrant, enhanced color when visiting these local attractions.

You can test your color vision, and that of your children or students, in under two minutes at https://enchroma.com/pages/test. Please join us in support of International Color Blindness Awareness Month (September) and share this post!
