All the girls went right where they were supposed to. Took us about 30 minutes and cutting the new fence, literally finished just hours before to get him back in. Yesterday was rough day and today brought some light. We have some amazing neighbors; they are a mom and daughter we had never met before. They showed up during the fire yesterday and jumped in to help without a second thought. We had an unfortunate Mother’s Day at the ranch. The barn apartment caught fire and it’s a total loss. We were able to contain most of the damage to the apartment, we lost 2 chickens so far, and no other livestock was affected as of yet. The horses were in stalls and the bison next to the barn. We’ve started the process of restoration and are grateful no one was hurt.
