Accept credit cards anywhere with Intuit GoPayment!

Any fellow small business owners (or non-profits) out there interested in the ability to accept credit cards? I've been using Intuit GoPayment for years and have zero complaints. Their customer service is great and the app is very user friendly.

Throughout April they're offering a referral incentive! If you sign up for Intuit GoPayment and use me (Rachel Villalpando/ V Panda) as your referral, I get a $25 Amazon gift card and you get $10 free dollars deposited into your account! I really love this service and I know you won't be disappointed if you try it.

Check out GoPayment, a free app from Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks and TurboTax. It lets you accept credit cards right on your mobile phone or tablet so you never miss a sale.

Hard at work today printing scarves and bags! Winter is fun because every year we buy a bunch of vari-colored scarves and I get to go crazy printing designs in different colors and different layouts and then I never do those same ones again. Pictures will be posted as soon as they're done, keep your eyes peeled!

Baby, it's cold outside!
Partly because of the rain and coldness and partly because we've recently received a new large custom order from a client, V Panda will not be at the market again today. But we're taking the extra time as an opportunity to really ramp up the items we'll have on-hand for small business Saturday on the 30th - which we will be attending rain, or snow, or hail, or tornado or whatever!

Please mark your calendar to attend Small Business Saturday at the Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market on November 30th or head on over to their page and join the event. There will be a live remote broadcast and some crazy deals from great local artists, it's a wonderful opportunity to get gifts for loved ones.

Any fellow peddlers out there? I've been pretty proud of my custom price tags for a long time and thought I'd share how they came about.
OvernightPrints.com offers special "mini" business cards that are the same width as regular ones but half the height. When I saw them, the first thing I thought was "Those would make awesome price tags!" I had been using those plain white string ones you can buy at Staples and hated the cheap look. The best part? I went ahead and designed the back side to look more-or-less like a business card with my business name, slogan, places where we're available socially and our website. If a customer hangs on to the price tag after purchase, they already have my business card!

Share this with anyone you know who sells items, it might come in handy for them!

There's a wind advisory for tomorrow, reports say anywhere between 20 and 50 MPH winds. Since we don't want our tent crashing a BBQ in Arizona, we will be missing tomorrow's market, unfortunately. If only we sold rocks, life would be so much simpler!

Well, it's been radio silence for way too long! V Panda is still alive and kicking. And growing! Over the past year, equipment has been upgraded, exciting partnerships have happened, a complete website overhaul is in the works, and new designs are rolling with more on the way. We've hit the Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market in a big way (look for some pretty awesome discounts on Small Business Saturday on Nov 30th) so make sure you come by and say hi!
Stay tuned for more word as it comes down the pipe. For now, enjoy a teaser image for a new design that premiered last week. Full image as soon as I get a model to pose it for me (this humble designer might have to take on the chore but has it on good authority that the photographer is harmless) OR you can come down tomorrow morning and see it for yourself! Enjoy.

We started V Panda LLC exactly one year ago today. If I have to put a word to this past year, it's "learning". We've been through ups and downs and twists and turns but always, without a doubt, things have improved, we've learned and grown, and I wouldn't trade this crazy ride for anything. Thank you to everyone who has supported us - without all of you, this wouldn't have been such a rewarding journey. Here's looking forward to 2012 and beyond!
