A very worthwhile experience.

The Bat Flight Amphitheater at the natural entrance of the cavern was constructed in 1963. From late spring to fall, thousands of bats can come out each night to feast on insects.

Bat flight program times change throughout the summer. Please ask a ranger when you arrive at the park!
