Pilot, John Gruenberg started flying balloons in 1982 and has flown in many states up and down the East Coast, as well as out West with an impeccable safety record! Yes, flying a Hot Air Balloon requires a Pilot’s License! Pilots undergo routine training and additional educ

ation, while the Balloon Systems are inspected Annually by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) representatives. Why the name Namaste? Does this mean we have to do Yoga while in flight? Nope… The word NAMASTE means ‘I honor the light, love, beauty, truth and kindness within you because it is also within me’ — -We want to share our Bliss and Enjoyment with you! What’s that weird logo you have? The OM Symbol, pronounced AUM is a Sanskrit symbol, mystically embodying the essense of the entire universe. Covering all States of consciousness and wakefulness. It's almost June here in Las Cruces, NM. We have been spending over a year getting settled in our rental home. There are now flowers and humming bird feeders around our patio. We are having fun learning about the birds in the desert.

June also means it is getting to 70 degrees by 8am. We are going to squeeze in one more flight before "Santita" has to go for it's annual. By the time it will be too hot to go to fly in the morning.

At least around here in Las Cruces. Who knows if we will get a wild hair and travel to other places to get our itch for flying scratched.

In the meantime, we are planning on participating with local air and space shows. We have also been spending time with local RC balloon pilots. What fun!

We are working on lodging plans for Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. We are seriously considering renting an AirBnb and are trying to get confirmations of crew who would be interested in renting rooms with us.

One last bit of news: We are doing a crazy thing. Chalk it up to being dehydrated in the desert. Once we have definitive details to announce, we will be shouting it out to the whole world. (Hint: we are not getting married....yet...but it is much more insane than that! :D )
