Tuesday August 13th at 9:00AM at the COUNTY Courthouse on 3rd st, there is a meeting to pass UTV/ATV's to be driven on the streets in Colfax county. Now this does not mean you can drive on any street in Raton, As they are going to make a push to get RATON city officials to move to pass the law to allow them to drive on streets here IN Raton itself, but the County one will be a BIG step in the right direction. If you can PLEASE, mark your calendar, try to be there, show support and let's try to make this LONG OVERDUE subject moving forward. We do not have much issues with local police or Sheriff, but the Game and fish can sure get ya!
So please, show up, don't count on others to show up, we need as many voices as we can. And if you are against it, just a reminder, those who are against it, you show up on Wednesday at 9:00 AM not Tuesday...
