MEET THE JUDGES: Mallorie Rasberry

Mallorie graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2008 with a Bachelor of Accountancy with an emphasis in Economics. She immediately followed with a Master of Accountancy Degree and passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in 2009.
After college, Mallorie served as an Assurance Associate for KPMG and HORNE CPA firms performing audit work throughout the Southeast. In 2011 she left the public accounting world to pursue her passion for entrepreneurship and downtown revitalization.
Today, you can find Mallorie on screen as a cast member on the HGTV hit show, Home Town. Behind the scenes, Mallorie focuses her efforts on economic development through hospitality – managing their three retail stores, The Laurel Mercantile, Scotsman General Store and the Scent Library, as well as hosting over 3,000 guests from around the globe in her Airbnb properties.
Most recently, Mallorie and her business partners launched a manufacturing facility, Scotsman USA, producing custom wooden countertops, butcher blocks and items for the home.
Mallorie is an active member of the local community through her volunteerism on the Laurel Main Street Board of Directors (past President and current Treasurer) and The Economic Development Authority’s Tourism Committee.
While their businesses and volunteerism keep Mallorie busy, nothing brings her more joy than her husband, Jim, and their two daughters, Lucy and Lottie.
