Every corner, every surface, every touch is filled with a memory.
Little by little, over the past year, our family has been slowly going through and removing items from dad’s workshop, “the shop”. Tossing some things and dispersing others that have a memory attached for one of us.
There are a lot of memories of “The Carpenter” and the golden light from the setting sun on this Saturday evening seemed to bring them all. It was as though it was orchestrated, as we were clearing some of the last items, representing a final closure, despite the fact dad has been gone for 9 1/2 years now.
