The Fish Hatchery is a short walk from the cabin! There you can learn all about hatcheries and feed the large fish and sturgeon in the ponds! It's just one of the gems of the McKenzie River Recreation area!

The Cabin is a wonderful place to spend some rest and relaxation time in the Winter! Go for a long walk or soak your cares away at nearby Belknap Hot Springs! We still have availability for the rest of the year! Simply send a message if you'd like to make a reservation!

We don't leave our doggies at home and we don't expect you to either! Plenty of space at the cabin for dogs to play! We are moving into the ideal time of year to visit the McKenzie River recreation area! DM us to make a reservation!

In August, the full moon is nicknamed the "sturgeon moon" according to the farmers almanac. Here is a picture of the "sturgeon moon" as it rises over a sturgeon pond! The sturgeon pond is a short walk from the cabin!
