We just made a comment the night before that we'd never seen any sheep in all our trips to the cabin--> we saw an entire herd the very next morning right on the way to Deadwood. Here is a video of a younger one- trying to decide if he's supposed to jump this guard rail or not. More photos & videos in comments.

Stopped into Lou Lou's Bombdigities this morning for some hot pasties (we got sausage, egg & cheese filled and bacon, egg & cheese fillled) along with some chocolate milk & a vanilla steamer. Definitely a great little breakfast spot close to the Iron Horse Cabin.

The weather is cold here, but the roads are clear & the snow cover is great!
