Just had to mention this even though this is not a small ship trip, but a small group trip.
What did we do last night? We had a fun Zoom meeting all about our SMALL GROUP trip to visit Chile, Argentina & the area known as Patagonia! One of our guests last night has been there, does fabulous photography and guess what he mentioned? Most gorgeous spot he has ever visited and he mentioned our pricing is very good! Hard to get a better recommendation than that!

Sometimes we coordinate trips that are land based.

A few tips if you are traveling far or near for the upcoming holidays. I’ve learned from experience on some of these.

Try to leave the house with the trash taken out, dishes clean, laundry done & put up etc so when you walk back in the house upon your return you are not immediately confronted with a million things to do!

Make sure there is no damp laundry laying in the dryer.

Don’t leave pet food out to attract ants into your house. Also good to empty the water bowls too.

Make sure you have checked your mail and front porch for deliveries.

It is nice to leave your car gassed up/charged up and ready to go when you get home.

Make sure you have picked up prescriptions so that you have enough during travel and also for right after you return.

Be sure to have your mail held at the post office.

It is a good idea to involve kids in doing some of the jobs and discuss it ahead of time as a goal to make returning home pleasant.

If you are not going to be gone too long, think about having a few things in the fridge so you can make breakfast after you have returned without making a mad dash to the grocery store. Maybe even freeze something that could be dinner on that first night home and let it start thawing the minute you get home. Might be a good time to have ingredients for a crock pot dinner ready to just drop in to cook during your first day back home.

There are many things to consider, but these are some that really help. I bet you have others that you can add.
